Children's Policy Coalition

CFPC has staffed the Children’s Policy Coalition, an ad hoc group of Iowa organizations working on child and family issues in the development of educational materials related to child policy and upcoming elections.  In 2006, this included The 2006 Gubernatorial Candidate Guide, which included ten questions to raise with candidates for state office and published verbatim responses from the two major party candidates for governor.  In 2008, this included a Presidential Guide with a set of Nine Questions submitted to presidential candidates.  President Obama was one of the seven candidates who submitted responses, you can read his submission here.
