Iowa Initiatives

Making Connections

CFPC serves as a results coach and lead on school readiness activities and as research and evaluation partner for the Des Moines Making Connections Initiative . Des Moines is one of ten community sites that are part of the Annie E. Casey Foundation 's Making Connections Initiative. The goal of the initiative is to rebuild inner-city neighborhoods and improve results for children through strengthening families, creating economic opportunity, and building social ties.
