This report, Where Kids Count, Place Matters, includes an analysis showing in which Iowa neighborhoods or census tracts children are more likely to have tougher times growing up. The analysis is based on ten different indicators from the 2000 census, ranging from people age 25 and over with less than a high school diploma to households with earnings from employment to single parent families. The report includes 2000 - 2001 administrative data and 1990 - 2000 census data at the national, state and county levels.
